* Demonologist Pets do not exhibit the advertised “terrible might” and instead are providing yet another buff that must be recast when you die/zone. Pet damage is non-existent and players have been lead to believe that Demonologists are a pet class when indeed they are not. To add fuel to the fire the pet buffs are pretty much useless and buggy pet control makes them more of a hindrance then a help.

* Gear that adds stamina is currently a negative thing for casters as the stamina drop while sprinting is a fixed %.

* Does INT add to Magic Rating/Damage? How much does it add per point of INT?

Quote:

* Feats increase max damage not min damage so your range of damage increase but you still can hit for the minimum damage of the spell with of without feats. Feats should increase min AND max damage to reflect accurately actual damage increase (increasing max damage by 20 doesnt increase the average damage by more than half if min damage isnt increased as well)

Demonologists concentrate solely on sorcery and the potency of their spells is unmatched, as capable of eliminating a single enemy in a hellish inferno as destroying enemy lines with forks of lightning. They can sacrifice their own life-force in return for more occult power and they are most potent when they can devote their spell energies solely to attack.

* If melee types are affected by STR,DEX and CON, then are the other stats beneficial for casters? What effect does WIS have on casters?

* Request the ability to choose the sex of the aoc gold demon, change the demons name, or change the size of the demon (beyond the limits of the shrink spell). Pets should stand slightly behind us when we are idle so that they don’t interfere with targeting, looting and gathering.

Taken from the Age of Conan’s Community Website:

So great is their occult knowledge they can bargain a servant of hell into doing their bidding, a guardian daemon of warped beauty and terrible might.

* How is mana scaled with each level? Does the amount of mana per INT also scale with each level?

* Stun and Fear resists are not displayed so age of conan gold how do we know how much our buffs are doing?

* No clear role defined for Demonologists. Maybes its the intent of the Devs to have all casters do roughly the same damage or have roughly the same CC. If that’s the case then what specific role does the Demonologist fill that can’t just as easily be filled by another casting class with more utility?

* We need buff timers/countdowns that display without having to mouse over them.

* Demonologists are currently using the Necro Spellweaving affects and not the one shown by Funcom when they announced spellweaving.

* Demonologists are not the strongest casters. The potency of their spells are definitely matched and in most cases exceeded by other casting classes. Every other casting class can do as much or more damage than us and are able to wear better armor, heal themselves, require less buffs, and have more utility.

* How are resists determined?

* Demonologists have too many buffs that are required to be recast every time we die. At level 66 there are currently 10 spells that have to be recast upon death. Some of these buffs are required just to get “normal” spell damage.

* Pets can die due to bad pathing or terrain changes (i.e. Drowning and Falling).

* Demonologists should be able to Portal/Gate themselves and/or party members to different zones. At the very least we would like to be able to summon people.

* The lack of working/worthwhile feats (mainly in the Conflagration Tree) make choosing feats a very one-sided choice. The higher tier feats in both trees are severely lacking and give us nothing to look forward to as we progress.

The demonologist is the mightiest of sorcerers, wielding the power of hell and earth and capable of conjuring pillars of flame or titanic storms of electricity.

* Spell animations are lacking or missing for a number of spells.

6. General Complaints, Gripes and Requests

* Even with subpar damage, due to a lack of effective stuns/roots, lower HP and low AC, Demonologists are not able to solo as effectively or on the same level as other classes as you approach higher levels. This also results in fewer Chain Kills and creates a necessity to group when questing in areas where mobs come in multiples. This forced grouping is not something other classes have to deal with.

* Overload: Has no numbers to let you know how many times it’s stacked. The only way to know is if you hover over it then it’ll have a (2) or whatever. It’d be nice if it maybe started the blue and then filled halfway to a red when you have 2 on and then all the way red when you hit your third so you knew you next cast was mana free.

* How is magic damage scaled with each level?

* How are spell damage modifiers calculated? Are they added to the end of the spell or at the beginning?

5. Not enough information is provided to effectively calculate/determine how a skill/ability affects our class.

* When using our Hide ability our pet does not hide along with us, essentially giving away our position and negating the point of hiding.

* Demonologists lack the utility to be more viable in some/most situations when compared to other casting classes. The lack of dependable crowd control, worthwhile group buffs, or a pet that can off-tank in an emergency places us at the bottom of the list when groups start to form for PvP/PvE.

* Our feats lack proper descriptions and the lack of age of conan gold information regarding how the feats work or are applied makes it very difficult to plan your character.

(Example: spell does 233 - 543 dmg, average 388. age of conan gold feat increase dmg by 20 from tooltip this increasing the max by 20 gives 233 - 563 dmg average 398, the actual damage increase is barely 50% of what the feat says).

* Pets must be resummoned when changing zones.

* Horrible caster itemization results in most 60+ caster using level 30-50 items or items meant for another class. There are less than 5 level 60+ quest rewards meant for casters. 90% of all high level cloth rewards/drops are for Assassins.

GUILD HISTORY:

You can apply at our website, or contact Aeneas, Devilbliss, Balkis, Sagasha or Sylvester in game for a trial invite.

Now that AoC is out, the guild is branching out to another MMO while maintaining its presence in WoW. We’re a laid back group whether we’re PvP’ing or raiding. Most of the time we’re drunk when we do either (Grappler and Paragon are always drunk and will take on all comers in a drinking contest).

Now that AoC has the first month under its belt, Righteous Dawn has decided to open up recruitment to the public.

Righteous Dawn started as a raiding age of conan gold guild in World of Warcraft over 3 1/2 years ago on the Azgalor server. Throughout that time, Righteous Dawn has maintained its position as the premier raiding guild on Azgalor with server first kills in every major raiding instance from Molten Core to Sunwell.

http://www.righteousdawn.dkpsystem.com/news.php

Basically we’re looking to build our community here on Dagoth and age of conan gold add some quality people that enjoy pvp and raiding. If you’re looking for an established guild with laid back veteran MMO players, then we’re probably the guild for you. Contact us in game or on the website if you’re interested in applying.

All the rest of the healers will own you, unless they are incompetent, they will own you.

You will own HoX’s (Could become a good fight if they are good enough.)

http://feats.goonheim.com/barbarian#…b5d1g5j3k3p3u2

You will own demos.

Rangers are easy, unstable mind + escape artist from the general tree. GG rangers…also these two skill are almost your bread and butter for taking on a majority of the classes.

You will own conquerers.

You will own necros

No escape and decapitation are your best friends. The damage on these skill may be subpar, but they are instant damage. Whenever you see the enemy is low and possibly about to run, quickly hit decapitation and then no escape. No escape is also a great skill for escaping someone like a ranger when you are at close range, if you didnt blow your stun.

Second wind, escape artist, and unstable mind can help you when you are trying to run. Never blow second wind unless you are running away, if you an save unstable mind or escape artist for when you run (Xv1 situations)…and if you are a good barb, you need to hit and run on every enemy. Remember, if the fight isn’t going in your favor in the first 5-10 seconds, that means even missing one knockdown or stun, or combo…RUN!!!!

Always use excellent balance at the beginning of a battle when you are fighting anything that can knock down. Always recast it as soon as it comes back up.

Guardians you CAN kill, but the aoc gold fight will last literally anywhere between 4-5 minutes.

Also consider wearing a cloth helm instead of a light armor one. Helms are very weak as is. I do this to confuse other players into thinking I am a HoX. And it works too. This will give you a huge edge at the beginning of fights sometimes, with very little implications.

After you use Clobber, as soon as you see they are age of conan gold rooted initiate stunning punch. This will give you the best stunlock possible.

My K/D ratio at the moment is 633 to 87. No thats not because I sit in tesso and gank all day, its because I know when to run.

You will own assassins.

Never be afraid to use escape artist and unstable mind…they are probably your most useful tools, also, if you feel the fight isn’t going in your favor within the first 5-10 seconds, run. Stealth is your best friend on a barb, always use it when your are not engaged or chasing.

PvP tips:

Invest heavily in hide, skulk, and endurance put 1 into everything else. The rest of your points can go into whatever you please.

Other barbs are easy, most always start off with a knockback. Always use excellent balance at the start of the fight (And against any soldier.) and recast it as soon as its CD is done. That right there makes GG barb.

EDIT: People seem to fail to understand what I mean when I say run, you dont run and not come back. You run, go into hide, and heal back to full…then come back and hit them again. Being a barb is all about getting the stun, knockback, and combos off perfect or else you could be screwed. Just like a rogue, its all about getting the perfect strike.

You will own bear shamens.

You will own dark templars.

My feat build:

As it stands right now the +3m area and +2 effected targets is useless. With the collision detection of the npcs in this game they wont bunch up close enough for me to hit 4, let alone 5. Often I wont even two npc if they arent shoulder to shoulder. Before the patch I could gather enough mobs that they would make a cirlce around me and LS would hit them all if they are in melee range of me. Now feated with Pillar Lightning or not I can not hit 2 targets when they are both in melee range, one infront of me the other behind. So I know its not the max number of targets effected, its the area of effect.

Note: Please before you start flaming me about that I should use SF instead of LS, understand I have played my ToS to lvl 80 with my play style and like it. I use both pretty much equaly.

Ok, I would rant on about alot more things I see broken but they have been hit pretty well so far. gl and hope to hear if this is just me or not =)

On a side note I also untrained and retrained my feats and tested them as I put them in and saw large gains in everything but this talent. Something you might want to try is retraining your feats. My average LS went from 850-1050 to 1000-1300 no kidding. I was very suprised. these tests were in the Villas so all levels were same as me.

The reason I tested this in the first place is that I noticed a huge difference in game play. The -60% damgae to the aoe was quite a kick in the bag, the half radius of the spell is cripling.

I have been playing MMO’s for over 8 years and havent felt the need to make my own post until now. Generaly Someone has already said what I thought or needed said.

One thing that hasnt been adressed is that Pillar age of conan gold Lightning isnt adding to the radius of the splash damage of Lightnign Strike. I have tested this over a few hours with another ToS friend of mine. We both tested the area of effect together on the same mobs, while unfeated and feated with pillar lightning. There was absolutely no area of effect difference and I have yet to beable to get 5 targets in the now too small area of effect.

Mainly would like to know if this is a problem with others age of conan gold or if im bugged.

I wish I am wrong about all this, I’m asking that people please post the good things about the assassin to hopefully change my mind about this aparent useless class. Does it not say in the manual, “The assassin is the most lethal killer in the game,” and “should be the most feared” and “those aspiring to the top of this profession are executioners supreme?” So far I’ve been extremely dissapointed seeing as how the assassin doesn’t do anything better than any other class - I’ve even maxed out my hide skill and can’t hide better than a LVL 20 ranger.

This may have already been covered, but how many think the assassin sucks? I played an assassin to LVL 50 and restarted with a Priest because of my bordom. The assassin is always the first to die in any group quest cause he has virtually no defense, his attacks and combos (while cool) are nearly the weekest of all the classes, aoc gold (I don’t know if you get cooler combos after LVL 50, but..) alot of other classes at least have a knockback. Now while hiding and striking your opponent is a cool thing to do, it’s not really something any other class can do.

Thanks for listening to my rant.

Am I right or wrong about this? The melee attacks are cool but when it comes to combat I prefer pretty much any other class, should I feel like this even after the assassin is support to be a “executioner supreme?” Now I realize the assassin does critical damage attacking while hiding, but com’on - with only a few places in hyboria you can age of conan gold actually get a black diamond?

The Vanir fell at the Cimmerians’ feet, but the price was high. As two tribes aligned to stand as one, their numbers would be cut in half. The Cimmerians had won the day, but the cost was their way of life as they had known it.

Tarantia: The heart of Aquilonia. For generations Tarantia has been a melting pot of people and culture. The mixed races of Hyboria have ventured to her bosom in search of many things, including answers. Home to the great Cimmerian King, including some of his most trusted allies, and dangerous foes.

Silver Wolf Clan members are expected to display certain values such as; Honor, Respect, Discipline, and Trust. Once on the inside, you’ll quickly learn that SWC is full of ale swilling, bar brawling, politically incorrect *******s; although we are also jovial, light hearted, fun loving individuals that enjoy giving and receiving a good age of conan gold ribbing. We honor ourselves, our clan, our word, and our friends. What we look for first and foremost are people that will join in the fun and camaraderie that makes SWC what we are.

An Unlikely Alliance: Peering past the Black Veil

We strive to make a long standing community of friends that will traverse the online gaming platform, and promote true friendships that will be enjoyed for years to come.

Recognizing the need for survival the two Cimmerian tribes formed a single tribe, and to honor the dead and the sacrifice of life given to preserve what they had won that day, they took the name of the field of honor, and so the Silver Wolf Clan was born.

It should be stated that, because of our RP-PvP nature, it’s essential that we are driven, organized, and efficient at what we do.

Lore

The field was set, and the two armies clashed. Wave after wave of Vanir crashed into the waiting Cimmerian forces and the ground ran red with blood from both armies; still the Cimmerians held their ground. Fighting through the last man, the Cimmerians attacked with frenzy and fire. They held the enemy at bay, fighting for their lands, their people, and their pride.

Our recruiting doors are open, so feel free to drop by, say hello, and fill out an application on our dedicated applicant forum if you feel your skills and personality are a good fit.

When the battle drew to an end, the remaining Cimmerians noticed black clad riders at the valley’s edge. These riders were curious in nature; they never rode to aid the Vanir or the Cimmerians. With them they would bring many questions, and with those questions, a will to have them answered.

Now we’re not 100% RP. Our position on roleplay places more emphasis on respect for fellow members than on maintaining a hard-core roleplay environment. If members are roleplaying or if there is a particular roleplay event going on, respecting that by limiting “OOC” chat is appreciated. Other times, the guild chat channel may be buzzing with topics from game mechanics to personal life. Remember that SWC has a lounge forum where you can pursue any conversation, anytime.

Role Play

Much like other guilds in the community, we are planning to build a city fortress in the outlying lands to spread the influence of the new kingdom, as well as establish or assist with a guild or alliance battle keep in the border kingdoms to stage attacks on our enemies.

Mission Statement

The Silver Wolf Clan is an RP PVP guild. Our goal is to build a committed community of mature, fun loving individuals with a no drama policy. Our focus is group oriented for the best overall game experience. Whether your play style is Casual or Hardcore, you will find all levels of commitment within our walls. SWC be participating in all aspects of the game; PVP, PVE, Raids, Crafting, City Planning, etc.

One of the words you may encounter on the inside is “familial”. While that’s not a common word in today’s language, it’s a pretty accurate one when used to describe the atmosphere we try to establish around our playing experience.

So we are looking for dedicated mature individuals that will share this vision, and help bring it to fruition.

Whispers of a larger Vanir force have been carried over the winds, and two Cimmerian tribes meet to discuss options for their survival. A rare alliance was forged for the benefit of those that would meet their foes on the field of battle. The War Chiefs, Elders, and Chieftains meet to discuss the strategy, and together the battle-hardened Cimmerians choose their footing. United, the barbarians would travel to the Valley of the Silver Wolf. There they would face their opposition and let him see the might of their swords and shields.

Those that agree with the simple principles outlined above will find a very good community within our walls, and will come to understand that the bonds that we share are more then just those of gamers, and transcend into a supportive community of friends.

We always treat all members and guests in our community with respect. Treating others with respect includes; listening to others opinions, keeping your word, being considerate and honorable, being fair and tolerant, and generally remembering “The Golden Rule” or “treat others as you would like to be treated.”

For ages past they have waged silent wars, sometimes for Kings, sometimes against them. Their fingers stretch along the roads and rivers of Hyboria, their spies and assassins prowl the nights bringing covert information back to their leaders. Information was their main trade, and on one fateful day, it would be their catalyst for change.

No Drama

Unsure of the motivation of the Vanir, the Cimmerians assemble and move to meet their foes. Speculation of why the Vanir would amass such a large number spread through the camps of the warriors. Some say that they were possessed by devils and demons… that their minds were not of their own, but simple puppets to the whims of their overlords. Others, thirsty for battle and blood, cared not to speculate at all, but instead hungrily looked toward their enemies on the horizon.

We have a solid base of mature players, and are always looking for more that find they can identify with our ideals and philosophy, so dont be shy.

We’re not hardcore. We’re not going to police you. We’re not going to make fun of the way you’re RP’ing, because you’re going to be around other RP’rs. We’re not going to slap you on the wrist and tell you how you are RP’ing your character wrong and that it should be done this way or that. We want to encourage you to RP. If you haven’t done much roleplay before or haven’t found a roleplay style that is comfortable for you, that doesn’t matter.

The Silver Wolf Clan is an RP-PVP guild that resides on the Cimmeria server. U.S. [EST], Eastern Standard Time Server [GMT -5].

PVP

Cimmeria: land of darkness and the night. War ravages the land; raiders from the Vanaheim threaten Cimmerian tribes with border skirmishes for women, weapons, and anything else that can be carried off over their saddles.

Focus on the Group

***

Silver Wolf Clan accepts all races. We are a Cimmerian based clan, but the world of Hyboria is rife with spies, and SWC has recognized the value of aligning with those that might be considered questionable. See our Lore section below for tie in information.

Secret societies of rogues, warriors, priests and spell weavers are known to lurk in her shadows. Among them is one of great power and mystery. Known only as Black Veil, the society is an unlikely mix of races that have come together to help vanquish those that they deem as “unworthy” of life.

Battle of Silver Wolf Valley: A Clan Unites

We’re building ourselves around the group mentality. We want to play as a group. We want to have fun as a group. We want to hunt as a group. We want to quest as a group. We want to RP as a group. aoc gold There really is no reason to pursue interest in joining SWC if the goal is to be solo player yet chat socially in the guild channels. While there is nothing wrong with solo play, constant solo play at the expense of group events or the group atmosphere of SWC is discourage. We want to be a clan that never ignores a member who comes online, and will always make sure to extend an invitation to join a group.

Knowledge was gathered about riders of the night, all clad in black, making their way as far north as Vanaheim. Their trail was paved in blood, the blood was bought with gold, and those they set forth to conquer now follow… seeking vengeance.

• A Guild that Stresses Maturity Over Age; We All Know that Age does not Guarantee Maturity

Does this sound like a community that you would be interested in? You are in luck, because you have a chance to be a part of our conquest. BKB is currently following an open recruitment policy based on trust and respect. We are seeking skilled PvPers, talented crafters, ruthless pirates, rich merchants, and witty diplomats. Our open policy does, however, require the regular use of our forums, Mandatory use of Vent and the following of our code of ethics. This should be no problem, as our forums are highly active and our Vent Server is always occupied. We welcome all players and offer an initial amount of respect to all, but as soon as anyone gives us a reason to disrespect them, we will ask them to leave our ranks.

If you don’t think Team work and guild events are a critical part of being in a guild then BKB is NOT for you.

• A Guild that is Open to Both New and Experienced Players

Our other goal will be to simply have fun and to strive while doing this to make BKB one of the most respect guilds on the PVP server we play on. We all have lives, jobs, and social lives. A game such as AOC is designed to be open ended. Do what you want, and have fun doing it. We don’t expect you to follow strict raid times, minimum play time per week, or ridiculous membership requirements. The community that BKB offers will provide an overwhelming amount of friendships, memories, and good times.

Currently we are in Full Ramp up for AOC. We need player input on city building, economics, diplomacy, and combat tactics. As soon as you are accepted, you can jump right in the member forums and Vent Server and give your own input. Everyone’s opinion matters.

Here are a few more of the advantages Membership in BKB has to offer:

• A Guild that takes Pride in Orientating New Members

• Group Experience from Several various age of conan gold Team-Based PVP Style MMORPGs

WE hold regular guild events and due to our strength and large number of active player 24/7 we also hold events and guild raids many time on the spur all days and times of the week The Black Knight Brotherhood (BKB) will be playing on a PVP server to accomplish its goals. Players interested in Joining BKB Must Abide by our Player Code Which can be read at http://www.bkbhq.com/index.php?pageid=coc. Failure to do so will be ground for removal.

• Dedicated, VENT Voice Communication Server

If you

• Role playing is not Required, but will be Encouraged

Our main goal in AOC is to be a fully self-sufficient aoc gold GUILD. We will begin our adventure with the establishment our GUILD ASAP then creating our player city/Kingdom. From there we will control our City with the help of our strong player base. We welcome all types of players, from Role-players to pure PvP characters, highly skilled artisan crafters, and everything in between. We will rely on in-house crafters to supply us with all needed goods and supplies. This will ensure that all gold stays within guild, making us all richer in the process. Our members will defend our kingdom vigorously from all hostile forces, establish vital supply lines, and work tirelessly to put the BKB name on the front pages of AOC news.

Our guild Black Knight Brotherhood, or more simply BKB, was formed almost 9 years ago. During those Nine years, we have accumulated over 2500 members from 16 countries with experience in many MMORPGs including WWII Online, SWG, DAOC, LOTR and EVE and many, many other games. In each of these games, BKB has set a precedence of forming well known, respected, and highly successful guilds. Our officers and members together have experience in hundreds of different games.

If you don’t think you need to use a voice Communication server 100% of the time, Then BKB is not a guild for you.

* No clear role defined for Demonologists. Maybes its the intent of the Devs to have all casters do roughly the same damage or have roughly the same CC. If that’s the case then what specific role does the Demonologist fill that can’t just as easily be filled by another casting class with more utility?

* Demonologists should be able to Portal/Gate themselves and/or party members to different zones. At the very least we would like to be able to summon people.

* Gear that adds stamina is currently a negative thing for casters as the stamina drop while sprinting is a fixed %.

6. General Complaints, Gripes and Requests

* How are resists determined?

* Our feats lack proper descriptions and the lack of aoc gold information regarding how the feats work or are applied makes it very difficult to plan your character.

* How are spell damage modifiers calculated? Are they added to the end of the spell or at the beginning?

The demonologist is the mightiest of sorcerers, wielding the power of hell and earth and capable of conjuring pillars of flame or titanic storms of electricity.

* How is magic damage scaled with each level?

* Stun and Fear resists are not displayed so age of conan gold how do we know how much our buffs are doing?

* The lack of working/worthwhile feats (mainly in the Conflagration Tree) make choosing feats a very one-sided choice. The higher tier feats in both trees are severely lacking and give us nothing to look forward to as we progress.

Taken from the Age of Conan’s Community Website:

* Pets must be resummoned when changing zones.

5. Not enough information is provided to effectively calculate/determine how a skill/ability affects our class.

So great is their occult knowledge they can bargain a servant of hell into doing their bidding, a guardian daemon of warped beauty and terrible might.

* Demonologists are currently using the Necro Spellweaving affects and not the one shown by Funcom when they announced spellweaving.

* When using our Hide ability our pet does not hide along with us, essentially giving away our position and negating the point of hiding.

* Spell animations are lacking or missing for a number of spells.

* Demonologists are not the strongest casters. The potency of their spells are definitely matched and in most cases exceeded by other casting classes. Every other casting class can do as much or more damage than us and are able to wear better armor, heal themselves, require less buffs, and have more utility.

Quote:

* If melee types are affected by STR,DEX and CON, then are the other stats beneficial for casters? What effect does WIS have on casters?

* Overload: Has no numbers to let you know how many times it’s stacked. The only way to know is if you hover over it then it’ll have a (2) or whatever. It’d be nice if it maybe started the blue and then filled halfway to a red when you have 2 on and then all the way red when you hit your third so you knew you next cast was mana free.

* We need buff timers/countdowns that display without having to mouse over them.

* Horrible caster itemization results in most 60+ caster using level 30-50 items or items meant for another class. There are less than 5 level 60+ quest rewards meant for casters. 90% of all high level cloth rewards/drops are for Assassins.

(Example: spell does 233 - 543 dmg, average 388. aoc gold feat increase dmg by 20 from tooltip this increasing the max by 20 gives 233 - 563 dmg average 398, the actual damage increase is barely 50% of what the feat says).

* Demonologists lack the utility to be more viable in some/most situations when compared to other casting classes. The lack of dependable crowd control, worthwhile group buffs, or a pet that can off-tank in an emergency places us at the bottom of the list when groups start to form for PvP/PvE.

* How is mana scaled with each level? Does the amount of mana per INT also scale with each level?

* Does INT add to Magic Rating/Damage? How much does it add per point of INT?

* Feats increase max damage not min damage so your range of damage increase but you still can hit for the minimum damage of the spell with of without feats. Feats should increase min AND max damage to reflect accurately actual damage increase (increasing max damage by 20 doesnt increase the average damage by more than half if min damage isnt increased as well)

* Demonologists have too many buffs that are required to be recast every time we die. At level 66 there are currently 10 spells that have to be recast upon death. Some of these buffs are required just to get “normal” spell damage.

* Request the ability to choose the sex of the age of conan gold demon, change the demons name, or change the size of the demon (beyond the limits of the shrink spell). Pets should stand slightly behind us when we are idle so that they don’t interfere with targeting, looting and gathering.

* Pets can die due to bad pathing or terrain changes (i.e. Drowning and Falling).
